
Toni Ainsworth Smith was born July 4, 1947, in Cordell, Oklahoma, to Robert and Annie (Lewis) Ainsworth and went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 5, 2015, at her home in Cordell. Toni was raised and attended school in Cordell, and worked at the Cordell Christian Home, as a beautician for several years. She also owned and operated The Sugar Shack, a produce stand. And, was known for her beehive hairdo and immaculate makeup. Toni and Jimmie Smith were married on October 25, 2012, in Cordell, Oklahoma. She was an avid garage saler, loved visiting with family and friends, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Toni especially enjoyed spending time with her dear lifelong friend Hazel Elliott. She is survived by husband, Jimmie of the home; daughter, Twila Lessly and husband Frederick of Dennison, Texas; son, Robert Putman and wife Wendy of Cordell; step children, Randall Smith of Oklahoma City, and Terri Johnson of Clinton; brother, Jerry Ainsworth and wife Joyce of Irving, Texas; three grandchildren, Rhett Putman, Bailey Lessly, and Emily Vickery; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, family and friends. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers, four sisters, and one son, Greg Vickery in 2014. Services for Toni Ainsworth Smith were held Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at the New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Cordell, with Reverend Mike Southerland officiating. Burial followed at Lawnview Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Musick-Varner Funeral Home.
