Billie McKee born October 13, 1924 to Roy and Fern (Wells) Logsdon, and passed away Monday July 18, 2016, at the age of 91. Billie grew up and attended school in Cordell, Oklahoma. She then attended college at Southwestern in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She married Trueman McKee on April 15,1944. They made their home in Cordell and had one daughter, Dianne. Billie and her mother, Fern, began a children's clothing store, "The Children's Shop", that Billie owned and operated for over 40 years. She was an active member of the Northside Church of Christ. Billie spent the last eight years in the Cordell Christian Home. She is survived by one granddaughter, Deanna Jakubiszyn and husband, Stefano of Lawton, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Billy Dawson and wife, Carre of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Tommy Dawson of Cordell, Oklahoma; and Bobby Dawson and wife Jami of Canute, Oklahoma; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah Pierce and Peyton Dawson. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Dianne Clark, and sister Maxine Sewell. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Lone Star Cemetery in Rocky, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
