Jeffrey Glenn Kupka

Jeffrey Glenn Kupka was born September 7, 1964, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Viloa Dorothy and Gerald Wayne Kupka. He passed away December 17, 2016, at Canute, Oklahoma, at the age of 52 years, three months and ten days. Jeffrey was a loving husband and father. His family was his pride and joy. He worked in the oilfield for many years and purchased his own truck and founded Kupka Trucking. Jeffrey graduated from Canute High School in 1982. He worked construction and then moved into trucking. He met the love of his life, Julie Spitz, and they were married on June 23, 1989. After their marriage they lived in Canute for four years and moved to the farm south of Canute in June of 1993. He was preceded in death by his father, two uncles, two nieces, one nephew, and one brother-in-law. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Julie, of the home; four children, Kylie Broadbent and husband, Shane of Butler, Oklahoma, Alisha Kupka, Amber Kupka and Josh Kupka, all of the home; two grandchildren, McKena and Brayson Broadbent, Butler, Oklahoma; his mother, Viola Kupka, Canute, Oklahoma; two brothers, Tim Kupka and wife, Debbie of Elk City, Oklahoma and Michael Kupka and wife, Miranda of Canute, Oklahoma; two sisters, Susan Brinkley, Elk City, Oklahoma, and Deborah Pruitt and husband, Jody of Newalla, Oklahoma; five nephews; three greatgrandnephews; two nieces; Julie's parents, J.R., and Bobbie Spitz of Canute, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Jean Kates and husband, Chris of Edmond, Oklahoma; his best friends, Ron Stam and Harvey Chervenka; and a host of other relatives and friends. Prayer vigil services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., at the Whinery-Savage Chapel, officiated by Deacon Paul Albert. Mass of Christian Burial services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church, officiated by Father Chinnaiah Pudota. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com.
