Geneva Massey Langford

Geneva Massey Langford, age 99, of Wellington, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Geneva was born on December 26, 1915, in Rocky, Oklahoma, to Ode and Mollie Peters Massey. She was the granddaughter of Nealas and Tennie Brown Massey. Geneva married Henry Langford on August 17, 1934, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died in 1984. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She had worked at Ingram’s Fabrics and Hatch Dry Goods. Geneva was preceded in death by two sons Loyd Ray in 1995, and Dan in 2012. She is survived by two sons, H.C. Langford and wife Frank- Geneva Massey Langford ie of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Donald Langford and wife Carol of Valencia, California; two daughters, Janelle Fielding and husband Garland of Garland, and Jan Chambers and husband Eddie of Graham; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild. The family suggests that memorials be made to Home Delivered Meals, 1001 Amarillo St., Wellington, Texas, 79095, or the First Baptist Church, 1106 15th St., Wellington, Texas, 79095. Services were held Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Tims, retired Baptist minister of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Keith Martin and Reverend Gene Weinette, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the North Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Tim Fielding, Tim Langford, Drace Langford, Greg Thompson, Mark Thompson, Clint Fielding, Glen Langford, and Kenneth Warren. Sign the online guest book at adamsfuneralsvc.com.
