Vickie Jan Celsor, 75, of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away on May 18, 2017. She was born on June 9, 1941, to Raymond and Evelyn Joy (Keas) Farris in Elk City, Oklahoma. She attended Port High School and graduated in 1958. Vickie married the love of her life, Carl Dean Celsor, in 1957 at the Sentinel First Baptist Church, where they both were members. They had four children, Carl Scott, Ron Farris, Joe Bill and Samuel Raymond and in 1976, they gained two more children, Shelly Dawn Stowers and Gunar Eugene Stowers. Carl Dean and Jan spent their entire lives in the community of Sentinel. Jan loved being a mother, wife, grandmother and friend. In the early years of their marriage, Jan did it all. She cared for her children and worked alongside Carl Dean on the farm and did everything from driving tractors to bringing meals. In her later years, she loved spending her time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; their friends and family; and traveling with Carl Dean. Jan was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bette Ann Stowers and husband, Gene of Sentinel. Jan’s survivors include her husband, Carl Dean Celsor; six children; Carl Scott Celsor and wife, Pauline of Yukon, Oklahoma; Ron Farris Celsor and wife, Sheila of Sentinel, Oklahoma; Shelly Dawn Miller, of Lewisville, Texas; Joe Bill Celsor and wife, Joy of Sentinel, Oklahoma; Gunar Eugene Stowers and wife, Bliss of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and Samuel Raymond Celsor and partner, Kassie Bourland of Sentinel, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; Chelsea Celsor Smith and husband, Brady of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brittney Elyse Sites and husband, Cade of Sentinel, Oklahoma; Denton Dean Celsor and wife, Melissa of Sentinel, Oklahoma; Brody Farris Celsor and wife, Lauren of Sentinel, Oklahoma; McKenna Sage Celsor and Fiancé, Hunter Kliewer of Dill City, Oklahoma; Samantha Brooks Miller of Wichita Falls, Texas; Jett Thomas Miller of Lewisville, Texas; Christopher Lake Celsor of Beijing, China; Olivia Drue Celsor of Yukon, Oklahoma; Gage Thomas Stowers of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Aubrey Rae Stowers of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and five great grandchildren; Elliot Lowry Smith, Vivian Elaine Smith, Wilder Farris Celsor, Anson Cade Sites, Adeline Ann Kliewer and Natalie Jo Celsor. Funeral services were held for Vickie Jan Celsor on Monday, May 22, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Burial was at the Sentinel Cemetery under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Sentinel, Oklahoma.
