
Albert Lawrence Dudgeon, 90, of Foss, Oklahoma, was born on December 7, 1926, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, to Floyd Linel and Katie Lee (Pennington) Dudgeon. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Elk City, Oklahoma. Albert married his sweetheart, Melba Faye Haggard, on January 1, 1950, in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Albert was an avid sports fan who enjoyed all school sports, bluegrass, and gospel music festivals. The softball field in Burns Flat is named in his honor. Albert was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Burns Flat, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Cherishing his memory are his wife, Melba Faye Dudgeon of Foss, Oklahoma; son, Terrance Dudgeon and his wife, Vickey of Norman, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy Airington of Shawnee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kyle Dudgeon and his girlfriend, Delanie of Norman, Oklahoma, Sean Dudgeon and his wife, Jennifer of Norman, Oklahoma, Ami Sinibaldi and her husband, Larry of Orlando, Florida, Kara McInnis and her husband, David of Lawton, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Madelynn Dudgeon and Cole Dudgeon, both of Norman, Oklahoma, and one great granddaughter, Charlie Jean Dudgeon, who is “on the way”. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Katie Dudgeon; sister, Rosada Richards; brother, Alphon Dudgeon.
