Mildred Adams of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, in Cordell at the age of 94. Mildred was born October 12, 1923 in Foss, Oklahoma, to William and Willie (Reeder) Adams. Mildred was raised in Foss and Cordell. She attended school in Burns Flat, Oklahoma and graduated High School from Burns Flat in 1941. After High School she attended college at Southwestern for a short while and realized her true passion was to be a Homemaker. Mildred’s husband worked for Boeing Aircraft, so they raised their family in many locations Kansas, California, Louisiana and Seattle. After retiring in the early 1980’s and moving to Cordell. Mildred enjoyed baking, bowling and she really enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Cordell. Mildred is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Eugene Adams, one brother, two sisters and one son in law Ray Ribaud. She is survived by, one daughter Marcia Ribaud of Belle Chasse, Lousiana, two sons Michael and wife Sue Adams of Snolomich, Washington; James and wife Ellene Adams of Marysville, Washington; one sister in law Janita and husband James Hendrix of Burns Flat, Oklahoma. She is also survived by, six Grand children, Six Great Grand Children, and a host of other Dear family and friends. Graveside Services were held Tuesday May 1. 2018 @ 11:00 am at Lawnview Cemetery. Services under the direction of Kiehn`Varner Funeral Home of Cordell, Oklahoma
