Pat Nichols, the daughter of Earl and Ruth Brown, was born October 14, 1933, in Agra, Oklahoma, and died February 9, 2016, in Oklahoma City. She was raised on a dairy farm and graduated from Agra High School. Pat then attended Oklahoma A & M where she met Bill Nichols. They were united in marriage on Christmas Day 1953. To this union five wonderful children were born: Niki, Pete, Tama, Tommi, and Tim. Bill and Pat made their home in Cordell, for over 52 years, until August, 2015, when they relocated to the Baptist Village Retirement Community in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Ruth Brown. Pat is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill; her five children: daughter, Niki Higgins and granddaughter Allison Robinson, husband Justin and great-grandson Benjamin, granddaughter Hillary Higgins and greatgrandson James, and granddaughter Stefanie Rowinski and husband Jason; son, Pete Nichols, wife Kathy, and grandson Randy Gilbert, wife Angela and great grandchildren Harper, Taylor, and Bryce, and grandson Bryan Nichols, wife Jyme and great granddaughter Ryann; daughter, Tama Blair and grandson Sean Blair, wife Natalie, and great granddaughters Kylee and Heidi, granddaughter Shelby Pothier and husband Spenser; daughter, Tommi Varner and grandsons Noah Varner and Greg Varner; and son, Tim Nichols, wife Pam and granddaughter Rachael Geary; her three brothers, Bud Brown and wife Diane, Gary Brown and wife Barbara, and Lynn Brown and wife Jean; and many other family members. Services were held on Friday, February 12, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church in Cordell, under the direction of Musick-Varner Funeral Home.
