
LaDonna Jan Kerley, 81, of Hobart, passed away May 17, 2019. She was born in Dill City, Oct. 9, 1937, to Homer and Loraine (Killer) Wood.
She married James Buel Kerley on Nov. 19, 1953 at the First Baptist Church in Dill City. LaDonna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dill City many years ago. She loved reading, gardening, sewing, and getting her nails done. She loved to mend clothes. She also enjoyed babysitting her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband James Buel Kerley.
LaDonna is survived by four sons, Michael Kerley and wife Lori of Paris, Texas, Gregory Don Kerley and wife Laurie of Canyon, Texas, Robert Preston Kerley and wife Chulei of New York, and David Erick Kerley and wife Jennifer of Hobart; daughter Cynthia Diane Kerley of South Carolina; 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sherry Summers and husband Joe of Marble Falls, and Barbara Blanton of Yukon.
Family greeted friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Hobart. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Chapel in Hobart, with interment following at South Burns Cemetery in Dill City.
Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Hobart.
