The family moved to Burns Flat in the fall of 1982. Patrick attended Burns Flat-Dill City High School where he excelled in athletics. After high school graduation, in 1995, he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, where he met the love of his life, Sasha Stephens, and they were married Dec. 29, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nev. After graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Patrick began his career in education and coaching at Newsome High School in Lithia, Fla.
