Dana Kay McCullough was born December 17th, 1946 at Elk City, Oklahoma to Veda Fay (Evans) and WD Price. She passed away Saturday, December 12th, 2020 at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 25 days.

Dana grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma where she was a member of the class of 1964. During her high school years she was married to Lyndell Keith McCullough at Cordell, Oklahoma on July 10, 1962. They made their home for a short time in Cordell before moving to Elk City where they made their home in 1963. Dana was employed with area cotton gin’s as a book keeper until she and Lyndell bought the Ford dealership in Sayre, Oklahoma on December 15, 1984.

They owned and operated McCullough Ford for the next 26 years and also run the family ranches that they established. Throughout the years, Dana designed house plans on graft paper and Lyndell built her house to her specs. Dana enjoyed horseback riding, working outdoors, raising and showing llamas and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Dana is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lyndell, of the home; 2 daughters, DaLana Dixon and husband, Danny, Elk City, OK and LaJeana Thompson and husband, Robert, Elk City, OK; 4 grandchildren, Caleb Dixon and wife, Hailey, Jami Dixon, Tyler Thiessen and wife, Payton and Travis Thiessen and wife, Nicole; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Price and wife, Sharon, Rockwall, TX and a host of other relatives and close life long friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Grandview Church officiated by Pastor Mark Little. Burial will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West. Condolences can be made online at www.classicfunerals.com
