Services for Alma Marie (Charlton) Anthony, 98, of Oklahoma City, Former Cordell resident, will be held on Wednesday, September

7, 2022, 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Union City, burial will follow at the Hazel Dell Cemetery NW of Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco Alma Marie (Charlton) Anthony was born on November 19, 1923 at Minco to Corbit Ray and Ruby Mae (Garrett) Charlton, she died on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at her home in the Baptist Retirement Village, Oklahoma City at 98 years of age.

Alma was raised in Minco, on January 16, 1946 she married Enis Garol Anthony later making their home in Anadarko.

In 1964 they moved the family to Cordell, where they lived most of their life. They moved the Baptist Retirement Village late in Life.

Alma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cordell and was very active in the church, she was a homemaker and enjoyed crochet, sewing and many other crafts.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Enis in 1990, daughter Evelyn Marie White, brothers, Cecil Charlton and wife Nellie, Conn Charlton, Walter Charlton and wife Virginia, , brother-in-law, Edward Hall She is survived by her son Jerry Anthony and wife Ann of Grand Junction, Colorado, sister Ruth Hall of Oklahoma City, sister-in-law, Nancy Charlton of Minco, sonin- law, Jimmie White of Texas, 4 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
