Anna Elizabeth ‘Anna Beth’ Heidebrecht

Anna Elizabeth “Anna Beth” Heidebrecht was born January 21, 1946, to Alvin “Tom” and Abbie Heidebrecht, and passed away September 5, 2022, while in the comfort of her home with the loving support of her husband and family.

Anna Beth graduated

fromAltus High School and attended Central State University (UCO) in Edmond. She received her bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s in guidance counseling. She later returned to graduate school and earned enough hours to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She started as a classroom teacher at Northeast High School in 1969, then spent the final 21 years of her career as a school counselor, retiring in 2014 from Jackson Middle School. She also shared in the integration of Northeast High School.

Anna Beth married Jackie “Tex” Rollins February 14, 1985. They originally lived in Oklahoma City, then later made Midwest City their home. Tex is a retired teacher and coach from Carl Albert High School and Anna Beth followed CAHS track and football teams, missing only one football game during his 32 years of tenure. She also loved to watch her brother coach high school basketball and supported her nieces and nephews’ sporting events.

Anna Beth and Tex loved to travel and eat dinner at their favorite place, Lido’s. She was an active volunteer, serving meals at shelters on holidays. She also was generous with her time and resources, helping many students throughout her career.

She and Tex have a large extended family whom she cherished. Her passion for encouraging others was evident even in the final days of her life. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Tex; her brother Tommy Heidebrecht (Linda); sister, Kay Wilson (Richard); Tex’s children, April and Matthew, and grandchildren, Jackie, Cuisheena, and Cessli; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin “Tom” and Abbie Heidebrecht, of Altus, her grandparents of Altus and Corn, and Tex’s daughter, Carliss of Ada.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 am at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, Midwest City, OK. Burial will be at 2:00 pm at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Services will be livestreamed at bffuneralhome. com.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Anna Beth’s honor be made to Red Andrews Christmas Center.
