Bobby Joe Ainsworth

Bobby Joe Ainsworth, 69, of Johnstown passed away very unexpectedly in Cheyenne, WY on September 24, 2022. He was born in Oklahoma on June 24, 1953 to Billy Joe and Cliffton “Pat” (Bradley) Ainsworth where he grew up.

Bobby worked for roofing companies and traveled wherever there was work after major storms and came to Colorado where he met Janna Lea Tregoning. They were later married on November 14, 1987 at the United Methodist Church in Johnstown.

Bobby worked as a roofer since he was 12 years old, working for the family business, and later working as a subcontractor for area roofing companies.

He loved supporting Cory by attending his Rap concerts, hunting, fishing and shooting guns. Most important to him was his family and the time they had together. He was also a member of the NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Janna, sons; Cory (Kaila Morrison) and Jeff (Anna), two grandchildren; Devon and Stacey, his three brothers; Jimmy (Carolyn), Dennis (Donna) and Freddie (Evelyn).

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Trisha and a baby brother, Teddy.

Bobby’s visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Cremation will follow. Memorial gifts may be made to “NRA” in care of Adamson. Friends may leave condolences at AdamsonCares.com.
