He talked often of the hard work on the farm and how he wanted to began. From that point forward he served in the army, worked in a Uranium mine, toiled in the oil fields near Bakersfield, CA and helped construct a nuclear power house in the state of Maryland to name a few of his many interesting jobs and adventures. In the late 1960’s he moved to Las Vegas,NV where he became Chief Engineer at The Four Queens Hotel and Casino on Fremont street. He recalled the heyday of Las Vegas where he worked and met a lot of stars such as Frank Sinatra Jr who experience what was beyond the wheat fields of back home when he was a boy. After his high school graduation in May of 1957, he boarded the train for California where his adventure worked the lounge at Four Queens and calling one of Benny Binion’s right hand men a close personal friend. In the early 1990’s he met the love of his life, Eva Dean, whom he married and spent over 25 glorious years with.
