John Wesley Harbuck

April 10, 1933– Oct. 28, 2023

John Wesley Harbuck, 90, passed away at the Veterans Center in Clinton, OK on October 28, 2023. J.W. was born on April 10, 1933, to Albert Lee & Stella Rawls Harbuck, in Antlers, OK. He attended & graduated high school from Sickles High School in 1951. J.W. met & married the love of his life, Donna Mitchell, on December 27, 1955. He served in the United States Army & after his discharge, they moved to Colorado, they enjoyed their time there but eventually moved back to Oklahoma where they settled in Hydro. They later moved to Borger, TX before making their home in Dill City, OK. J.W. worked for the Western Technology Center later retiring in 1998. He enjoyed farming in his free time & in his retirement. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sons: Ricky Harbuck of Dill City, Oklahoma, Mitchell Harbuck of Dill City, Oklahoma, and David Harbuck & wife Nancy of Dill City, Oklahoma. Grandson: Taylor Harbuck of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Sisters: Loretta Kirksey, Wagoner, OK and Oletta Harris, Hugo, OK.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Mitchell Harbuck, Parents Albert & Stella Harbuck and 7 brothers.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at First Baptist Church, Dill City. Visitation: 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, 2023 and 9:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, OK.

Interment: Liberty Bell Cemetery, Dill City, OK.
