William H. Goodwin

May 20, 1952– July 30, 2023

William H. Goodwin, 71, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away on July 30, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after a long fought battle with cancer. He was born on May 20, 1952, to Ulyss and Elizabeth (Goodman) Goodwin-Barnes in BakersField, California.

William grew up and attended school in Carnegie, Oklahoma, where he met Glenda Tilley. They were united in marriage on March 6th, in 1972.

William worked as an Equipment Operator for Oklahoma Natural Gas, retiring on August 2007.

He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and occasionally the slot machines.

He loved spending most of his time with his granddaughters and other family members. William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Glenda Goodwin, Cordell, Oklahoma. Sons Brady Goodwin and his wife Fay of Lone Wolf, OK, Billy Goodwin and wife Jaime of Clinton, OK. Granddaughters Skylar, Sydney, Shyann, Shayna, Phoebe, Sofie, and Kenadi. Siblings Konn Goodwin, Rushsprings, OK, Anne Kirkland, Hot Springs AR, Della Lowber, Cordell OK, Stella Scarberry, Cordell OK, Charles Goodwin Cordell OK, Rick Goodwin Weatherford OK, Cathy Goodwin Purcell OK, Judy Goodwin Garder OK. And many more family and friends.

Preceded in death by his Parents: Ulyss and Elizabeth Goodwin. Brother: Tony Goodwin. Grandson William Brendan Goodwin.
