Edna M. Allen, age 93, formerly of Midwest City, Oklahoma, was born on September 9, 1922, and passed away peacefully on October 13, 2015, after an extended illness. She is survived by her daughter, Gaynell Coil; sister, Mildred Jones; two grandsons, Jeff Siegel and his wife Angie, and Travis Siegel; three great-grandchildren, Hunter, Bailey, and Jarrett Siegel; sister-in-law, Bobbi Mier; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Richard Allen. Edna was a retired beautician who loved watching her "Cubbies" and the Oklahoma City Thunder play. She also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. The family would like to thank Edna's caregivers who provided comfort and care until the time of her death. Services were held Saturday, October 17, 2015, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
