
Robin M. Gray, 55, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away on June 1, 2017, in Clinton, Oklahoma. He was born on February 16, 1962, to Alvin and Betty (McClung) Gray in Hobart. He grew up in Lone Wolf and Dill City and attended Dill City High School. He married Tammy Lowry in 1985, and to this union they had two daughters. He married Susan Giblet in Vernon, Texas, in 1998, and to this union they had one son. Robin worked many years at the Farmer’s Coop in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, and several years at Pop and Sons Insulation in Clinton, Oklahoma, as an installer before becoming disabled in 2009. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved listening to music, especially Kidd Rock and Johnny Cash. He enjoyed collecting, not just one thing but many things. Most of all, Robin enjoyed being with family and friends. Robin was preceded in death by his father, Alvin, in 1995. He is survived by his mother; Betty Sparks of Cordell; two daughters; Megan Hale of Cordell, and April Gray of Cordell; one son; Dalton Gray of Cordell; grandchildren; Jace and Noah, sisters; Connie Thompson and husband, Joe of Cordell, Pam Gray of Cordell, brothers; Larry Gray and wife, Ethel of Rocky, David Gray and wife, Kari of Cordell, Dennis Gray of Lawton, a host of dear nieces and nephews, friends, and his very best friend Dudley Simpson. A graveside service was held Monday, June 5, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Lonestar Cemetery in Rocky, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Kiehn-Varner Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cordell.
