
Carl Dean Celsor, 80, of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away on May 29, 2017. He was born on June 10, 1936, to Carl and Mahdeen (Gold) Celsor in Sentinel, Oklahoma. He attended Sentinel High School and graduated in 1954. He married the love of his life, Vickie Jan (Farris) Celsor, in 1957, at the Sentinel First Baptist Church, where they both were members. They had four children, Carl Scott, Ron Farris, Joe Bill, and Samuel Raymond, and in 1976, they gained two more children, Shelly Dawn Stowers and Gunar Eugene Stowers. Carl Dean and Jan spent their entire lives in the community of Sentinel. Carl Dean was a devoted husband to Jan and father to his children. He followed in his father's footsteps and began farming at an early age. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and his work ethic was something to be revered. When it came to farming, he was a wealth of information, and he gladly imparted this knowledge to his children and grandchildren. Carl Dean was his family's patriarch; he loved his family and mentored, shaped and guided them, his qualities are mirrored in his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching Oklahoma sports, and later in life, traveling with Jan and their family and friends and visiting his sons at the farm. Carl Dean was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Carl Dean's survivors include his six children; Carl Scott Celsor and wife, Pauline of Yukon; Ron Farris Celsor and wife, Sheila of Sentinel; Shelly Dawn Miller of Lewisville, Texas; Joe Bill Celsor and wife, Joy of Sentinel; Gunar Eugene Stowers and wife, Bliss of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Samuel Raymond Celsor and partner, Kassie Bourland of Sentinel; 11 grandchildren, Chelsea Celsor Smith and husband, Brady of Oklahoma City; Brittney Elyse Sites and husband, Cade of Sentinel; Denton Dean Celsor and wife, Melissa of Sentinel; Brody Farris Celsor and wife, Lauren of Sentinel; McKenna Sage Celsor and Fiancé, Hunter Kliewer of Dill City; Samantha Brooks Miller of Lewisville, Texas; Jett Thomas Miller, of Lewisville, Texas; Christopher Lake Celsor, of Beijing, China; Olivia Drue Celsor, of Yukon; Gage Thomas Stowers, of Winston- Salem, North Carolina; Aubrey Rae Stowers, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; six greatgrandchildren, Elliot Lowry Smith, Vivian Elaine Smith, Wilder Farris Celsor, Anson Cade Sites, Natalie Jo Celsor, and Adeline Ann Kliewer. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Sentinel, Oklahoma Burial was held at the Sentinel Cemetery, under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Sentinel.
