Jimmie Dale Britton, 70, of Sentinel, Oklahoma, passed away on June 8, 2017. He was born on June 15, 1946, to Jimmie and Madge (Cheryl) Britton in Truman, Arkansas. Jimmie married Carla Hardwick on February 20, 1973, and she preceded him in death on July 29, 2011. He was on a softball league and a fireman for the Sentinel Fire Department. In his spare time he loved to go fishing, but most of all he loved his family. Jimmie will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Survivors include a Son, Jeffrey Britton and wife, Melinda of Salisbury, North Carolina; two brothers, Marcus King of California and Chuck King of California; four grandchildren, Caleab, Ethan, Jaxon and Wesley; one great grandchild, Jace; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Sentinel Cemetery, under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Sentinel, Oklahoma.
