Edmond Newton Wallace, 90, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on May 24th, 2018 at the Cordell Christian Home. He was born at home on January 24th, 1928 to William and Lillie (Yandell) Wallace in Mill Creek, Oklahoma. Edmond worked as a Farm Laborer most of his adult life. He met the love of his life Bertha Sides and to that union was born 2 daughters and a son. Edmond will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughter; Loretta Waddell of Cordell, Oklahoma his son; Fairon Wallace of Tacoma, two Grandchildren; Jarrod Hayden of Clinton, Oklahoma and Ryan Hayden of Arkansas. He is also survived by his sister; Ruby Arles of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and five brothers;Frank Wallace & wife Betty of Coleman, Oklahoma, Roy Wallace & wife Sonya of Mangum, Oklahoma, Johnny Wallace & wife Sherry of Mangum, Oklahoma, Jessie Wallace of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Gene Ensley of Tishomingo, Oklahoma He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Bertha Wallace, his daughter; Sharon Hayden, five sisters and two brothers. His Funeral Service was at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home Chapel, Cordell, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
