
Donald Dean Buehler, 73, of Cordell, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 17, 2018, at his home. He was born on Feb. 12, 1945, to Julius and Dora (Wollmann) Buehler in Clinton. Donald grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1963. He joined the United States Army Reserves in 1969 and served his Country faithfully until his discharge in 1971. Donald then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, earning is Accounting Degree. He enjoyed spending time with his brother Harold, who preceded him in death in August 2016, and family/ best friends Doug Rose and his wife Sonia; Keith Javorsky and his wife Racquel; and J.C. Sperle and wife Pat; and most of all loved being with his dog Bud. Donald was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by seven cousins, Stanley Rose of Clinton, Margie Carter of Edmond, Charles Regier of Cordell, Dale Regier of Yukon, Carol Price of Cordell, Elaine Boatsman or Cache, and Ronald Wollman of Bessit; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius and Dora Buehler and brother Harold Buehler. Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, and from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home in Cordell. The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2018 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Bessie with interment at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Bessie.
