Iva Lee Gass

Iva Lee Gass, 94, of Cordell, passed away on May 29, 2020. She was born on Jan. 15, 1926, to Claude and Minnie (McElroy) Marshall, the youngest of six children at Lake Valley.

Iva married Johnny Gass and had two children a son and a daughter. Iva was a resident of the Cordell Christian Home and spent over 20 years there as a volunteer. She will be missed by many friends and special friends Linda Duerksen, Les and Nelda Goetz, Betty Howard and Rita Miller.

Survivors include her daughter Judy Baird and husband J.C. of Oklahoma City; grandson Jason Baird and wife Billie of Choctaw; granddaughters Andrea Gossmeyer of Pelynt Cornwall, England, Misty Skelton and husband Michael of Texas, and Michelle Fry and husband Dakota of Sentinel; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny and son David.
