Vanya Vaye Osborn was born on September 4th, 1959 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Frances Kay Propps (Alford) and Coy Dean Propps.
She passed away Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 in Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years and 2 days.
Vanya grew up in Litchfield Park, Arizona. She graduated from Agua Fria High School in 1977 and remained in the Litchfield for several years.
She enjoyed being involved in the community theater, pantomime productions and writing.
In 1990 she returned to school where she obtained her associates degree in the fields of psychology and counseling with an emphasis in mental and substance abuse therapy.
In the late 90’s, Vanya was a concert promoter for Desert Sky Pavilion and then employed by the San Francisco Giants as an executive administrative assistant to the president.
Around 2000, Vanya moved back to Dill City, Oklahoma to be closer to family.
Throughout the years Vanya enjoyed the production arts, writing books, and spending time with her family and friends, but she felt her most important contributions were her 2 wonderful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Coy Propps and Grandmother, Verna Alford (Meador).
Vanya is survived by her 2 children, Erin Quackenbush-Baker and husband, Brett, Oklahoma City, OK, and Daniel Osborn, Edmond, OK; 3 grandchildren, Madison, Noah, and Jacob Baker; her mother, Kay Propps, Oklahoma City, OK; 1 sister, Renee Props-Rodriguez, Santa Fe, NM and a host of nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Vanya lived a courageous life and was a strong, brilliant woman. She was gifted with beautiful creativity and writing abilities that shined bright for others throughout her life.
She had an amazing sense of humor which will make her being gone that much harder.
Vanya will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A gathering and lunch to share love and stories were held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, September 12th, 2022 at the Grace Baptist Church in Dill City, Oklahoma followed by a service and burial at the Liberty Bell Cemetery in Dill City, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m..
