Jimmie Dale Lemmon, Sr., 66, of Mountain View, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016, at his home. He was born to J.C. and Lee Merle (Rhodes) Lemmon, December 17, 1949, in Hereford, Texas. Jimmie was united in marriage to Charlene Haworth, June 29, 1978, in Hobart, Oklahoma. In 1965, Jimmie and his family moved to Sentinel, Oklahoma, where he grew up, attended school, and worked learning body shop skills at Watsons Body Shop. He later settled in Oklahoma City, with his wife and children, where he worked for Charlie's Automotive Machine Shop for ten years. Jimmie was an avid fan of Harley Davidson Motorcycles and Fords. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. His survivors include his wife, Charlene Lemmon, of the home; five children, Shelia Lemmon, Elk City, Oklahoma; Cecilia Jarvis and husband, Bobby of Mountain View, Oklahoma; Jamie Burrs and husband, Johnny of San Antonio, Texas; James Lemmon, Mountain View, Oklahoma; and Jimmie Dale Lemmon, Jr., Mountain View, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Justin Loomis, Elk City, Oklahoma; Mackenzie Burrs, Lawton, Oklahoma; Crystal Burrs, San Antonio, Texas; C.J. Burrs, San Antonio, Texas; Mercedees Jarvis, Mountain View, Oklahoma; and Porsha Jarvis, Mountain View, Oklahoma; one great-grandson, Nicholas Loomis, Erick, Oklahoma; two sisters, Rita Haworth, Hobart, Oklahoma; and Lynn Jones and husband, Lance of Bessie, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Faith Assembly of God, Carnegie, Oklahoma, officiated by Reverend James Gunner. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View, Oklahoma.
