Esther Keith and Norman Keith

On May 29, 2016, a memorial service will be held at the Cordell Lawn View Cemetary for Cordell’s former resident Esther Maude Birckett Keith and her husband, Norman Keith. The service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Esther’s four children and their families will be at the service. They would like to invite Esther’s former friends and classmates to join them in celebrating the life of their mother. The ashes of Esther and her husband will be laid to rest beside Esther’s parents, the late Sam and Esther Birckett, long time residents of Cordell. Esther Maude passed away November 20, 2015, and her husband, Norman passed away March 12, 2010. Esther Maude was born in Cordell, at the Florence Hospital. She grew up in Cordell and graduated from Cordell High School in 1958.
